Il progetto organizza una serie di due sessioni di formazione all'anno, metà delle quali in aree remote o rurali, con 15 partecipanti per sessione. Durante le sessioni di formazione, i genitori e gli assistenti migliorano le loro abilità e competenze chiave, tra cui l'imparare a imparare, le capacità di comunicazione e il lavoro di squadra, acquisiscono familiarità con il contenuto del Toolkit e del set di metodi e con il Centro di apprendimento digitale, acquisiscono una visione della salute mentale dei bambini dopo la pandemia e dei modi per integrare le attività pedagogiche e didattiche a casa e nella vita di tutti i giorni, hanno accesso a consulenze psicologiche e ricevono informazioni dettagliate e personalizzate sulle opportunità Erasmus+ di cui possono beneficiare i membri della loro famiglia. Dieci partecipanti all'anno e per Paese vengono selezionati per partecipare a un programma di abbinamento, in base al loro rendimento durante la formazione, alla loro motivazione, al loro budget di tempo e a condizione che abbiano completato con successo il corso online del Centro di apprendimento digitale. La priorità è data ai genitori e agli assistenti di famiglie provenienti da contesti svantaggiati e, se logisticamente possibile, possono partecipare più di dieci genitori.
